    The North

Cleanup job continues, Poses dying here and there, and small skirmishes take place between NC and WN/XDEATH in Venal. That’s it.

The Wizardhats - or what’s left of them~

As it was expected, the 9UY- station is in now in Ushra’Khan’s hands. I’d personally say finally, since the whole contest didn’t produce a single worthy battle out of it. The –A- bloc kept reinforcing, while the Providence bloc kept doing circles around the system and not entering it. Ushra Khan is thrilled out of this outcome, since they managed to recapture their very first station the alliance built and second station to be built in Providence as a whole. So, UNITY Station is back at the hands of its rightful owners with the name that it first had when assembled. Congratulations Ushra’Khan!

And while UNITY’s morale has skyrocketed, the Holders’ morale reinvents the term of being a “bottomless pit”. Sylph Alliance is now heading to a full failure cascade, with corps leaving and their membership from around 500 before Dominion, dropping to around 350 and this is not the end of it. Judging from where most of the corps that left ended up, and the majority didn’t get absorbed in other holder alliances, they might as well completely depart Providence and don’t look back.

A logical outcome of their internal issues was one of their corps, Eve Unity (irony overload), forgetting to pay their bills with sov dropping in W9-, KA6D and J6QB respectively; with KA6D and J6QB being station systems. The –A- bloc rushed in, killed the TCUs and replaced them with their own, with small skirmishes happening from both sides in the duration it takes for the TCUs to online (8 hours), but before they onlined CVA dropped RRBSs and Caps on them and -A- didn’t escalate.

This was mostly an opportunistic move from the -A- bloc so there isn’t really a whole lot to determine when it comes to CVA’s response and if they will start taking a hold of the situation when it comes to serious engagements, I personally hope they do since it will make the whole war much more interesting both for the involved parties but also for a neutral observer.

Lastly, it has also been reported that Libertas Fidelitas [LFA] is going through some major issues, with three corps planning on leaving, though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. Personally, I would probably expect them either to completely cascade, or ally with the enemy and cross the holders.  Both outcomes seem much more interesting to me than them recovering and fight back.

On a general overview, if -A- and Co don't completely destroy Providence, and I do trust they won’t, this will only make providence far more interesting and colourful. Especially for the lolrpiers.

    NPC 0.0/Lowsec

Two semi-interesting engagements occurred between Evoke/Cry Havoc/Razor and LODRA* around NPC 0.0 and lowsec.

*The new goony alliance, I’m not writing the full name.

The first one took place in Kedama, with a Dead Terrorists Technedium POS (P4 M7) coming out of RF. Ev0ke jumped in to kill it with about 17 Caps and a few BSs, and a passerby Razor scout noticed them. While they were still in siege, Razor dropped on them with 50 Caps and another 50 support. Fap fap fap fap, 14 Ev0ke dreads down.

The second engagement was between C H and LODRA on the latter’s staging POS in 31-M in Syndicate. C H had only around 54 in total with 10 caps and expected goons to have about the same, though goons dropped on them with around 25 caps and around 120 support. The outcome is obvious. C H lost about 26 with 7 being dreads and carriers, while goons only lost about 45 support, mostly stealth bombers, and t1 crap.

    Useless Info and Smug Facts

Core of Elements, the last corp to join IRC lost an Anshar, a Rhea and a Rorqual to an Atlas roaming gang. To quote Bobby Atlas, an awesome start in the new alliance.

Rumor has it that Battlestars, after been left out from the new goon alliance, applied to Razor, got rejected, then applied to Mostly Harmless, got rejected, and lastly applied to Wildly Inappropriate and they might get accepted.

Divine Retribution is now in Atlas Alliance. Good corp, they’ll probably fit in well.

Backdoor Bandit and the Minmatar Gay Rights League is back. You can’t imagine how thrilled I am (NOT).

Haunted House also left The Klingons and might be joining the Romulans.

And I’ll end this update with saying that there’s also some very interesting changes that might be happening in the near future regarding politics but I won’t spoil the surprise.
