The Wizardhats – Hogwarts School is burning!

I was planning to write this part in a Harry Potter fashion, then I got disgusted and only kept the title. I haven’t yet decided if this whole situation is worthy of reporting, however, it is happening so while I would love to I really can’t avoid it.

Albus Dumbledore, oops missed that-Aralis, the current leader of CVA and the Holders seems determined to continue the war at all costs. Providence’s main propaganda line is that whatever the costs may be, this hasn’t been an error in judgement but what CVA’s ultimate goal has been in years and that Providence Holders will fight till the end.

On the other hand, -A-‘s main propaganda line orchestrated by the current leader of -A- Manfred Sideus himself, is that Aralis made a huge error in judgement, -A- didn’t even want this war but to continue living in a symbiotic[sic] relationship with Providence. Part of this propaganda is to divide the holders and crash morale, suggesting that their leader is delusional and is only forcing them to inevitable death in a Don Quixotian quest of tilting at windmills.

Judging from the forum porn that has been released, the Holders don’t even need -A-‘s propaganda to for discord to spread. The usual ‘I told you so’ and ‘if I was in your place we wouldn’t now be in the position we are’ are everywhere, with a clearer image now about the true relations between the holders. As it is very well known, in situations that despair rules, people show their true face. The relations between LFA (Libertas Fidelitas) and the rest of the holders especially seem to be the worst. LFA is receiving an equal blame for initiating this war and the losses that occurred with Aralis.

The second outpost that is under siege is CVA’s ‘Deliverance Reclaimed’ in 9UY that is exiting its first reinforce today. It has been reported that the Provibloc didn’t even try to defend it, which might be due to Aralis choosing to go with the well-known ‘if we don’t fight them they’ll get bored and they’ll leave’ approach, however that isn’t confirmed.

The North...

...Is back to being quiet and apart from NC alliances clearing POSes individually all around Pure Blind and surrounding regions nothing substantial has happened and the Geminate clean-up operation hasn’t began yet.

TRI is mostly active in empire highsec/lowsec with their most important engagement being on a Dead Terrorists Technetium POS that was exiting RF in Kehjari in Black Rise. Numbers and firepower were on TRI’s side, that resulted in annihilating the enemy in a lol ratio of 49 kills to 3 losses. They also killed the POS so that’s another Tech moon for TRI.

Goonswarm!!!

As the roles continue to drop, more bees are freed from the shackles of the now inhabitable GoonFleet and the transfer of members to Goonwaffe is continuing. Darious has made a last post with not a substantial amount of info, but mainly stating that the goals that were set pre collapse haven’t changed, and after everything has been sorted out, and goons & pubbies are in their new alliance they will be set in motion. Current orders are to continue moving from GoonFleet to Goonwaffe and regroup in A-S in Syndicate, which will be the new base of operations for the near future. GROON is also back to the Goon family for now with positive standings, that I’m sure many will be happy to find out. You can read his post here:

It has been a rather long yet eventful 24 hours. Since the disbanding yesterday I have worked to ensure that everyone has a home in Goonwaffe. This amounts to two long days of paying attention to the applications screen because everyone else in the directorate had roles requiring a 24 hour cooldown before they could join. This means that until tomorrow I will remain the only member of the directorate in Waffe, and therefore the only person who can process the applications. Unfortunately this is unavoidable for one day. After that auths should resume as they normally functioned for goonfleet.

There are a few items I would like to make clear as regards our future direction. Firstly, nothing about the plans proposed to you at the SOTG last weekend has changed substantially aside from the whole pesky not having any assets or alliance. With this resolved hopefully by the weekend I will work on reshaping the directorate. In parallel we will move forward with our plans for the Syndicate theater of operations. I am in the process of, via our diplomats, burying the hatchet with Groon. The Groon in Syndicate appear to be for the most part chill dudes whom people seem to be having fun chilling out with. If you guys like them I like them so we'll be solidifying standings in the next day or so once I sort out a few kinks.

For tomorrow going into the weekend I want you to focus on getting ready to operate out of A-S. We have located frigate caches number in the neighborhood of 1000 hulls from the original BoB invasion years ago that will be relocated and put to good use. The market should begin being seeded either tonight or tomorrow with hulls. There are a number of things we'd like to accomplish but they require you to be equipped and they require our jews to be doing their goodly work populating our markets. I want each of you to do your best to have 2 BS hulls ready in A-S. This includes capital pilots. Once the administrative shit is finalized our brave and stalwart leader of fleets Junkie Beverage has devised a plan which will get the ball rolling once again on organized operations as an alliance. It requires you to fly a BS. When this plan goes into effect we will have at least nightly ops and beyond that many of you are finding that Syndicate is a goldmine of hilarity and people to shoot. Get a cruiser or whatever, go out and live the life astronautic.

If you still require shit evacced from Delve I apologize. This cannot happen until we have a proper corporation/alliance structure in place. Once that is done we will determine if a significant portion of you still require assistance and divert fleets to help. The only way we will know is if you are in contact with Joe. I believe Vio is doing some work on this front as well.

Overall... a time of great change is upon us. We are entering a new golden age of goondom having been given the opportunity to relive our space childhoods. Childhoods which many of you were not around to appreciate in the first place. The hardest of what had to be done is almost over. By this time next week we will have our legs beneath us or at the very least be capable of rolling from one end of the room to the other. Vets should help their fellow goons (as many of you already are) to acclimate to Syndicate. It will be our home for the next few months as we reload and learn to crawl again. If you're not there get there. You are missing out, as I'm sure many of your fellow goons will attest. Good night goons.

Darius also gave a short interview to massively.com explaining the whole situation. What is interesting in the interview is that he states he didn’t believe Karttoon had planned the whole hijack and theft all along, but that it was rather an aftermath of being trolled and pushed by goons to resign.

Seriously. DS1’s name looks appealing now. Anyway, I’m guessing Darius was drunk again and mashed the wrong key. Another bill wasted, oh well~

In other news, Ars ex Discordia, Merch Industrial and OEG also joined Darkstar1’s terrible alliance name GOONS IN SPACE (yes all capitals), and we are waiting to see what exactly is going to happen with that.

And lastly, while it hasn’t been confirmed, it was mentioned that Battlestars[BTLS] and Ultrapolite Socialites[LOVEU] won’t be joining the new alliance. Welp!

Useless Info and Smug Facts

IRC gained 2 more stations in the N4TD constellation in Cobalt Edge, that raises their station count to 6 out of 7 stations in the region. Not sure what exactly they plan on doing with all those stations…

United Front Alliance (UNIT) has been taking sovereignty in random systems in Branch.

Primary took the DITJ-X outpost in Scandling Pass raising their station count to 2.

Goons are arguing about who was the best CEO of Goonswarm. Someone said Remedial was the best CEO. He was also serious. : smug:
